Removing RRP

Hello! I'm a GL 26 and received an email regarding the removal of RRP for GL 21-26. Anyone have any info on this? It explains in the email that we are going to be given a one time pay increase, and going forward not eligible for RRP.

You’re going to get whatever your projected RRP amount is as a base increase in September, and a “transition” payment - you’ll still be eligible for your merit at YIR. Assuming it’s like getting a new job, your merit will be small next year because of the pay increase we are getting now. (I started as a PG25 in August and got .29 at YIR because I just had a pay raise, even though my pay is at the 24% for my PG)

enjoy your 2.1% raise instead of the usual 1.5%

What other info are you wanting that wasn't in the email or video linked to the email? We've been told for a few years now they were getting rid of RRP's. We aren't getting RRP's anymore but will still be eligible for your pi-s poor merit increases every year.

There's not really any info other than what is in the email. The video linked in the email was helpful and basically it sounds like nothing they are giving associated with this will keep up with inflation, which is nothing new.
