An uninspiring presence where my LLM transcriber needed to amend its model of the English language given the frequency of “um”s. His completely pointless repeating-the-question-that-we-all-heard-perfectly was only surpassed by the kindergarten-level explanation of how a satellite is mated to the launch vehicle. Thank goodness he didn’t give the ending away with “pointy end up, flamey end down”. FFS. Sorry but this company is completely finished if this is the level of senior competency that is deemed acceptable

Fully supported in RIF'ing Girish. Let's be honest, if there was anybody entrusted with the responsibility to prepare and pivot to LEO threats before they metastasized it was him. The threat was well known way back in 2017, yet here we are still ma---------g why customers aren't supposed to want the benefits of LEO.
But he-l, don't let failure of the imagination hold you back. I can dream the impossible dream that MD needs to walk the plank considering his helming the company down from $90 over the past six years. But the board is just a bunch of poodles. Don't get distracted with the stock action over the last few weeks, most of us remain at an average cost still much higher via RSU/ESPP. Still nothing to cheer about being underwater, even if it hits average breakeven you're still holding an utterly abysmal ROI. But as noted, you have to lower your expectations of what leadership gets you at Viasat.
Working at Viasat you must lower your expectations of leadership… then lower them again.
