“Retirement gift/gift card

Just wondering, those of you that AEOI’d, did you receive a gift/gift card when you left? I did not but I know several who did. Just wondering

These cheap mofos cannot even be bothered taking an employee for a meal or at a minimum giving a greeting card. This place SU-KS and gets fuller and fuller if a--holes with each passing day.

I got a goodbye lunch with my team and a small gift.

I got one after I EOI'd in 2020, but my thought was that was from my manager, not from Chevron (I know other EOI's on my team who also received one). I also thought that was to substitute for the retirement party Covid denied us.

At the point I left I wouldn’t want anything. My career wasn’t defined by a final “Thank you” from what ended up being a bunch of N@rccissts. The vast majority of people that I had any respect for left years ago.

When you AEOI/EOI, the final line in your CVX file is 'TERMINATED'. No retirement gifts for you!

AEOI and EOI are not retirement. These are offers to pay you to leave quietly.
