Are we going to have a real PDC or have managed moves of some sort? For those that got/get put in roles that you don't want, what's the plan? I was told multiple times over that people would need to be moved around once the dust settles but I'm uncertain of how long I want to wait for that to happen before seriously looking for something else.

PDCs as you knew them are history. They served as a cover to move high-pots around the world while moving everyone else between buildings. As others have noted, after a significant layoff round, staffing ENGINE, and having to integrate Hess, Chevron doesn't want to deal with the additional time and expense of moving a few people around.
Some people are planning they’re carrers here, not everyone is worthless
Right. Around, and out the f..k'n door!
@jc more like 2026 and every year after.

The next round of a PDC event will be another layoff in 2027 as we onboard all the experts from the ENGINE :)
Yes, there will be chances to move around soon - out the door in the next reorg.
Yall are funny if you belive there will be any jobs in the PDC for the next 2+ years
Let's hold off on moving from your NEW role until:
- We finish giving Round 2 ppl jobs
- we integrate Hess folks
- We figure out how to get sh*t done in this new poorly thought out organization
If you want to move to a better position, prove that you were worth keeping by doing your current role well.
There will be no moves in the foreseeable future, except where they need support for the engine
