Thank you for the unexpected career plot twist — also known as the layoff. It turns out, you gave me the best kind of breakup:

You paid for my grad school.

You handed me a generous sign-on bonus when I started working at L3Harris

And then gave me the freedom (and motivation) to land a new role with better pay and a promotion.

Not all heroes wear capes. Some just restructure their orgs.

No hard feelings — only gratitude. Wishing you all the best (and hoping the next round of layoffs is equally generous 😉).

CONGRATS this worked well for you because you exploited the means to climb while in LHX…… WELL DONE..

This is how it’s supposed to happen, than people expect it’s 1978 and companies still care for their people.

Look out for yourself, the company provides the means for you to do this.

You will be on the naughty list when you charge a lot of IDL, use more than 4 weeks of PTO, criticize management about their processes, etc.
