They “attempted” to try to stop the bleeding but those in “charge” made multiple bad decisions costing a lot of money that was basically just wasted. The right people could have made a difference.

Maybe possible down the line in a wait and see approach but in regard to round 2 , unlikely. The new org and decisions have already been made , facilities and equipment reduced for reduced output. Some good people in SJV , it’s too bad , location work/ home life wise, probably one of the best if not the best for onshore.

That time has come and gone. This is flange control by Newsom. CVX will not invest in the SJV as it won’t compete for capital. SJV has some great people who’ve staved off the decline but it’s only a matter of time.
