Requiring a Non-Compete Clause in Addition to Chevron's AEOI Severance Package ?

How many Chevron employees taking AEOI or EOI have been / are being required to sign a separate Non-Compete Agreement ?

I don't see Chevron asking Calif employees for this at least. I don't think those do well in court here? And they want to lay tons of people off now they're going to be choosy about who can go where? Seems off to me.

I haven't heard of this but it would not surprise me. I believe the non-compete would be limited in the scope.
