Down again 8/6/25. Customers do not seem happy about them rounding up package dimensions. Example: 10.1 inches is now 11 inches. Costs thousands per year for high volume customers. Starts around August 18.

Down today about 4% due to de minims rule starting up for all shipments to US on August 29th. Sorry to see this . Open trade among all countries should be equal, even dollar amount values and FREE of any one country charging or gouging others. It is how primitive trades started and how modern business is wisely done.
you got that backwards. unions are the main reason ups has done so well for years. good pay and benefits equal happy employees that will work extremely hard compared to non union workers who dislike the unsafe conditions, poor pay but do nothing to stand up for themselves. and it shows in their poor work accomplishments.
better to give truthful prediction with current circumstances than leave it a blind mystery as investors may take it negatively and go down the wrong trail.
They can’t tell with high confidence what the tariffs are going to do demand, and judged they would get punished less by removing visibility into the future than they would by delivering a huge miss if the economy wobbles later this year.
around 10% down at lunch. folks were expecting them to give the future guidance, but they skipped it again . some other big corps reported theirs this round. not sure why they would hold that information back.
