Right now, quiet quitting is the only sane response. Everyone's just going through the motions anyhow, waiting for the inevitable cuts. No one talks about it, but you can tell that many have started. People are dialing it back, updating resumes, slipping out for interviews. Why overperform when you're made to feel replaceable? If the company’s already checked out on us, we’d be stupid not to start checking out too.

I quiet quit 2022 with the last reorg. Over fearing for my job every day. Its not a good look and very disheartening.
Top management keep their jobs by doing absolutely nothing! Toxic behaviors are tolerated and supported. " I want to get back to caring about my work and having my work care about me", said so eloquently above. This toxic working environment is transforming people. It's contagious. So scary...
@OP CIT and quiet quitting exercised for the past 4 months. Our leadership is just terrible, there are no words to describe it fully. There are talks of rifs and of they rif me, I'll be relieved. I'm just not the same rn I was a year ago, sadly. I want to get back to caring about my work and having my work care about me.
It is difficult to be motivated in this type of climate. Many are talking about this in my department. So much uncertainty and instability it seems. Top management gets us into these situations any yet they keep their jobs.
