So leadership can demonstrate just how completely out of touch they are with the people they’re speaking to?

Her face said it all while she consistently reached for her phone then putting down quickly like she would get scolded like a child.
It's an effective leadership tactic. Kim Jong Un uses it as well, and everybody always claps after he is done speaking - proving morale is high.
As Gunjan's reign rains down on us, costs have increased from these meetings. They have had to provide towels so the c-suite execs can wipe off their boots from all the tongue slobber that gets on them. Unfortunately the budget ran out for towels to wipe the brown noses off, so for everyone else it's byot (bring your own towel).
Next hall, it's rumored they will have a low level employee speak, who with tears in their eyes, will thank Gunjan for the opportunity to be allowed the privilege of working here - a gift out of the grace of her divine benevolence. A bawling baller if you will.
@a4 "I love reading all the questions we're getting, the phrasing is interesting" I bet there are different words she wanted to say instead of "interesting" but she was coached not to. It just reaffirms how out of touch they are with the experiences of everyday employees. I have no doubt she continues to think we are selfish.
@a4 Fake nice doesn’t count.
Seems like management love love loves the completely useless ego stroke meetings. We have a useless middle management who are official meeting attendees who add nothing to any discussion.
Well she was a bit nicer this time around even though she couldn't hide her indifference to employee concerns.
