Mid Year Adjustments

Second year in a row that GK has prevented mid year adjustments and raises from occurring, rather than paying for performance. This has been a core feature for the 20 years I’ve been with the bank and it is directly leading to an exodus of the best employees who no longer feel valued. What a terrible CEO.

Mid-year reviews likely should NOT happen across the board, makes it pretty hard to budget for the year. Also many likely do not deserve it. I know it's rare at many companies and many of those companies also do not get the large bonuses that U.S. Bank offers 14 and above.

Last year, one of my direct reports got a promotion and good raise 10 percent in July off cycle, and they are NOT grade 17 or above. Another person on a close by team did too but they don't report to me. But I know it happened because the manager said told me they did.
