How much money did they waste on this?

Happy learned how to putt.
The CMO has bragged repeatedly about how laying people off has opened up funds to do other things. Apparently that means we all have to struggle so he can do stupid sh-t like this movie.
@14q of course they are. Just like they’ve removed almost 30,000 employees in the last 18 months. This place is a tire fire and Gunjan keeps pouring gasoline all over it
Just watched it. Not great. USB owned 5 minutes of it (visually) they probably invested 3 Million into it and got “millions of media impressions” in exchange for it. Hey, CMO, you got rid of 50% of marketers to be able to afford this? You should be gone asap for this d-mb a*s decision. Nobody cares about seeing logos on screen while people are losing their jobs every few weeks
It was such a good movie, my 6 year old loved it and he will plan to open a checking account in 12 years with usb because of the amazing product placement!!
It's all about growth. If that campaign cost 3 million, 30-40 sacrificed their jobs for this intelligent 4d chess move to grow business by targeting Happy Gilmore fans.
4d chess people.
They also paid Peyton Manning a boat load of money to appear in the new Bank Smartly ads.
I’m sure GK is behind this thinking it will make her more relevant in a disassociated workforce.
Id rather it go to Adam Sandler that into the pockets of our execs. At least he makes me laugh on occasions.
They can waste money on this future flop of a film but are laying off workers left and right. Priorities are in the toilet!!! Someone should ask at the townhall why we have money to fund this garbage but not to save jobs!
