If you’re not at least looking around right now, you’re choosing not to see what’s coming. Cuts are happening everywhere, and it’s only getting worse. When the next wave hits, you don’t want to be one of hundreds or even thousands suddenly scrambling for the same shrinking pool of jobs. Stay alert and be ready to move.

We know what it means to sever.
I left USAA for another company and I implore you … this constant worry about job security makes it impossible to build a life. If you stay, build your nest egg and live your life. Take your PTO, work reasonable hours, exercise, eat right, save your bonuses. Emotionally distance yourself from your job.
This year’s layoffs will be the hardest hit ever. It’s the cheapest ever to lay us off. Economy is tanking. We can open products. HR workforce transition jobs being posted like crazy externally.
Cuts are coming. Boston Consulting Group has been brought in to handle layoff targets. Working Bank wide and all areas being looked at. Will be a Major layoff is the rumors. You dont spend millions on consultants and not do a massive purge.
@bn Another reorg? Do you have details on which areas?
I mean they just cut travel in marketing and there is supposedly an impending reorg. Similar things happening across the company from what I hear. Would be nice to get some concrete info though.
Post actual inside info or get out. These speculative threads are worthless.
Cuts are happening where? Seems like a lot of speculation. Cuts have been happening but they’ve also brought on new people too.
