I worked on deploying Digital Twin application a couple of years ago. Chevron has been planning to offshore the FE jobs for years. They will gut the FE positions in abu and USA and migrate that work to the Engine. Assets like Guyana are the new normal, Chevron will become the NOJV investor for most future projects.

Going forward, CVX plans to simply cash the royalty check from Guyana and all operated assets will be in maintenance mode until they are uneconomic and sold or shut down. The era of MCP is over.

2nd half FE. Need at least 5 more years to be marginal FI. Want more. If I'm left standing now, will be %&#^@'d financially.

Without a doubt, the US will be hit the hardest in some functions, like HR due to scope reduction and offshoring jobs to BA, Manilla and possibly India.

expect 50%+ based on ABU.
There is no longer a need for major facilities; much fewer FEs are needed for the next 10+ years.
