Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

CX org folded

It looks like Rob is gone and CX folded under Chris into existing structure, which probably means redundancy and massive lay-offs. Right before RSU vesting period. CX can never catch a break.

"any orgs changes expected now that its all under CL?"

No. Anyone productive was already laid off. Mgmt and friends and family are untouchable.

They swung the axe with steady hand,
But only where the strong ones stand.
The lazy stayed, the loud survived—
Their friends and blood all neatly thrived.

No vision led, just fear and pride.
The best were cut. The rest just lied.

It’s about time RT gets moved on. He did nothing but hide himself, cower in front of angry customers, waddle through a smorgasbord of products with no real strategy, abandon customers with no communications, avoid customers with serious questions - and just try to stay in Larry’s good graces as his tennis partner. All the while wondering why no one is buying CX products. Should be a collective global round of applause for his departure.

Well it’s about time RT got layed off. Best thing that could happen to Oracle. rT was useless. Main focus was flying below the radar, making no decisions, anvoiding tough customer conversations and to keep playing tennis with Larry. Never delivered anything. Never wanted to admit his product strategy was hopeless. Good riddance.

CX is just an Indian company operating under ORCL.

During my time there, there is not a single person in dev from US or any other place in the world.

"CX has been growing a lot lately."

For friends and family ? VP who have been coasting along do not want any genius to onboard and rock their boat. They are fine with state of the product. New features or changes make the product unstable. Outsourcing all US IC4\5\6 jobs to IDC is the ONLY change they have been very successful at. It is a race to the bottom. No wonder the org folded. Hopefully CX will get aggressive under Chris and fix the org.

“non-stop layoffs for the past 3 year.”

Also persistent delusion denials about anything wrong with product. Lot of talented folks have been let go over the period and have managed to keep clowns around. With further layoffs only clowns will be around.

Oracle laying off? You shi*g me Clark? Half the GBU employees could be replaced by Walmart greeters. So many useless people work there.

Was RT asked to leave??

Well all his subordinates (except his assistant) now report under Chris org. So I assume yes. I highly doubt he will be promoted after non-stop layoffs for the past 3 year.

CX has been growing a lot lately.

What? I haven't seen a single new hire in CX since early 2022.

Somehow the most productive silent folks get picked for RIF every time.
