Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

I think the only question remaining regarding layoffs is how many and when

No way we survive in the current structure. The subsidies will not be renewed. So I would think Ambetter gets hit first and hard starting 2026. Medicaid will be more of a state by state effect and will come later in 2026 and early 2027.

They’ll have to cut in some very uncomfortable ways. We are bare bones in many areas. At some point there isn’t enough cluster left to f#%k.

@a3 I wouldn’t agree that providing poor people and those without employer sponsored plans options for acquiring health insurance should be considered waste and excess. The system is definitely broken, though.
