I am literally in tears over management doing this. We are so stressed in this dept, working 98% of all phone calls in the company and having insane metrics that are unattainable. Management has now decided that we are not entitled to 2 days off in a row and we must change our schedules, with every employee in multi contact working a weekend day. I work a 2nd job as Wayfair does not pay me enough in this job, now I have to quit one of my jobs and its gonna make me homeless. The impact of managements actions today have had a severe impact on my life and family. It is shameful what they are doing to people who work hard each and every day. I am at a loss on what my next steps are.

@aq Typical management response.
I don’t know what yall are complaining about. It’s rare I’ve ever had a two day in a row off schedule and I’ve been here over 5 years. This is retail…deal or quit.
Best way to handle it is for us all to find new jobs. There are other depts hiring right now, do your best to apply. What management did is disgusting and when they have no employees left maybe they can work split days off and deal with endless phone calls.
This is disgusting, employees deserve better than this. You cannot offer an entire dept split days off. Our mental health is suffering immensely and management makes it a million times worse by doing this. There is not a single person in management that has split days off, what message are they sending to us? I believe its a message that they do not want us as employees and its forcing people to quit.
I'm devastated. Been with Wayfair a very long time. Earned my position in CARE and my shift. Our department is going into a downward spiral and people are going to be quitting due to the lack of upper Management not knowing how to treat its employees with any symbolism of human decency. Wayfair used to have a culture that other companies strive to attain. Most of us were happy. Wayfair showed they also cared for its employees. I'm not sure what changes in the sky box made them look down on its employees like we do not matter. Split days off is not healthy. Not for mental or physical health. We can only hope that the upper Managent changes direction again to the better. One thing we can count on is change.
Where is the outrage here, this is insane. My anger is at boiling point, I am so sorry that you have to quit your second job.
