Seems like the opposite. Maybe good people but no experience in the jobs they got. Why??? What’s the vision here.

ABU SCM it was about giving a few bench warmer managers golden parachutes. Not only did they not deserve massive $$ farewells but they were replaced so what was the point? Moreover they said in the previous years that was their plan. Well done to then and another own goal to the ABU.
It would be true if Chevron recognized the "right people" (performance, experience, insight, risk-takers). Instead, Chevron is so pre-occupied with cronyism and DEI, they actually do think they're positioning the "right people".
That's becuase there not good people. Not to what I am still observation. If emotional ans arrogance is good people. Then you already messed up in the start. Too late now. All eyes on DEI now hahahahaha!
