This feels like the Great Recession all over again, or even worse. Sorry to hear that you have been long term unemployed. Did the bank help you with any outplacement services? I am nervous for Q3/Q4 since the job market su-ks right now. Just trying to upskill, pay off debt, and hoard cash right now.
I was impacted in November and I'm still looking for work. The job market is really slow. Everyone I talk to says be prepared for a job search to take 6-12 months.
