The people in charge avoid accountability at all costs, and it only gets worse the higher up you go. They know exactly what they’re doing, and they just let the damage pile up. The culture is built on fear and silence. I've been looking for a way out and as soon as I find it, I'm gone.

Staying with DXC when I had a redundancy offer some years back was also a mistake. At the time I didn't realise declining it was seen as confirmation I'd no intention of leaving anytime soon, so there would be no need to give me a pay rise. That flag clearly still exists on my record.
Some years on. I'm ready to go. Although slightly worried by talk of a wealth tax, and what inflation will do. But know I'm ok if the economy stays stable. I just have to get them to make that offer again now.... Meanwhile not doing or contributing much.
Working at DXC was one of the most demoralizing experiences of my career. The company is plagued by poor leadership, constant restructuring, and zero strategic vision. Morale is perpetually low, and any talent that remains is either burned out or desperately looking for a way out. Promotions and recognition are nonexistent unless you’re part of the inner circle — and even then, it’s more about politics than performance. Projects are underfunded, deadlines are unrealistic, and management is detached from the reality on the ground. Innovation is just a buzzword here; in practice, it’s all about cutting costs at the expense of quality and people. DXC doesn’t invest in its employees or its future — it’s a sinking ship with leadership rearranging the deck chairs.
@d3 You forgot to mention update the daily project status tracker, and attend your morning and afternoon stand up call. But other than that - DXC probably doesn't need you unless something goes wrong - which it won't because nobody is allowed to change anything on production even if it's broken. So the rest of the day is your own to do whatever you like with!
Understand your frustration, but please fill in the time shiiiiiits properly in all 4 systems in time.
Please also do your standard of business conduct and ethics course as well.
Most people who have stuck around came from the client via TUPE transfer, and are desperately hoping one day to get transferred back. Or that their gold plated redundancy terms will be honoured. They probably won't btw. DXC will say you signed a new contract when you accepted WFH, and that's statutory redundancy. I don't know anyone who voluntarily chose to join DXC to have stayed on.
@aj there are some in the middle of that range... With about 2-3 years... They are called the revolving door that is senior leadership. The actual people responsible for the issues with everyone else.
@OP when did you join? Was the offer good? The company has people who have been here forever. Or 18 months max. Hardly anyone in the middle of enough time to be useful but not so long to be totally cynical.
I take it you never spotted this board before you joined?
If anyone is reading this forum it couldn't be more clear what the career advice is... Stay the f away.
