I gave everything to this job, late nights, 60–70 hour weeks, weekends stolen from my life, and what did I get? Abuse and silence. If you say no, you’re punished or demoted. They bully openly, reward favorites, and HR turns a blind eye. I’ve watched coworkers cry at their desks after being forced to work through weekends, then lose pay for taking a single day off. This place doesn’t care about people. It breaks them. I’m exhausted, I’m angry, and I’m done.

Stupid is as stupid does
Couldn’t agree with you more.
Leaving USB was the best thing I did for my mental health, family, and future. I stuck it out for a long time thinking “this too shall pass” - and it just got worse. Landed the perfect role, with less headache, and circumstantially making more. I see all of these posts and it reminds me that I’m not alone is the mind f the bank caused me, and it also makes me really sad that this is what a once good organization has come to.
There is no reward for hard work except more difficult tasks and hard work. No positive reinforcement. No thanks. Just more work. Those avoiding work and accomplishing absolutely nothing will get the same raise and bonus you do.
Hard to believe but it's getting worse with GK at the helm. She's a one trick pony and will try to cut more and more. Best you can do is try to survive while you look for another job.
