I work Medicare appeals and we were notified last month we are being outsourced at the end of the year! The outsourced people are already trained and working so another slap in the face. We all doubt we will make it to EOY.

You think they will get rid of the keyboard bullies? I meant management- if not, this really doesn’t scare anyone anymore. These layoff assumptions never seem to happen. Give the people real dates or stop because they’re dealing with day to day overwhelming stress that no one seems to care about.
How do you know this to be true?
@a7 Timing - this just happened. They are not going to drag their feet with trying to recover (if any) losses, and companies of all industries are notorious for laying off people right before the major holidays.
This person has no idea. Quit stirring the pot until there is actual info.
Begin? Man, they have been laying off thousands every year since 2021. The only thing that that may buy anyone time is that Centene has to fulfill any contracts they have ( example was when HealthNet Federal lost their TriCare contracts several years ago we were working claims well after the contracts expired) - so the layoffs may happen in waves and I am only talking from an admin support role. I can't say in terms of member-facing roles, though. And the great thing is that the job market is sh-t. Lots to look forward to (sarcasm).😒
Layoffs to begin??? They haven't ended since 2023.
How credible is this info? Do you know how many people and which departments will be affected? I feel like layoffs are coming just wondered who knows what. It’s been quiet.
How do you come to that timeframe?
