Is Mattel still using the PLM (project lifecycle management) software?

Is there a more ironic name than, "Agile"?
The cuts already gutted key teams. There’s nothing left to trim that won’t hurt core work. The new CTO still doesn’t get how this tech org runs. Ten months in and it’s still chaos. No clear vision. No steady hand. Just big talk and bad calls.
We lost smart people. He didn’t replace them with skill, he filled seats with yes-men. PLM transformation so painful and doesn't address legacy issues. Oracle is an even bigger cluster with cost overruns and scope creep covered up to pretend OPG is on track. Cyber is barely standing. Gaps everywhere. No one with real security chops is left. It’s a breach waiting to happen.
Stock but backs can't lift the stock. Y’all realize if stock stays depressed we going to get sc--wed on bonuses again., right?
EA staff is not to blame for the ineptness surrounding PLM, but rather higher ups at Mattel who were sold on bringing it onboard. Can’t blame those at FP for at least trying to cover that pig with lipstick.
One of the many reasons I left Mattel.
If you’re interested in decaying a creative company from within by implementing an archaic, unintuitive, non user friendly program, then say hello to PLM…an absolute nightmare! What a colossal waste of time and money.
Are we talking about Workfront?
It is a TOTAL DISASTER managed by inept IT and incompetent users. The users under development leading this is in EA and has no clue how to manage PLM. The VP in charge is ineffective. If you want to save money, here's a place to cut and cut deep. It cost Mattel unprecedented millions of dollars for an implementation which were fed to consultants by Mattel IT who were their buddies. Corruption and incompetency at its best.
Yes, and it’s a total IT disaster. The new CTO has no idea how to run a technology environment this complex. All the top talent have departed, either on their own or were part of this year’s layoff for daring to challenge the new CTO’s vision of cost cutting everything and replacing FTE roles by hiring in India.
