I do not understand the value of some roles in IT like PLTLs and ESLs. They just pretend to manage a bunch of managers on their own and provide no real value besides throwing their weight around. Seems like, every time there is a reorg, they create some heavy roles on the top and cause chaos for the ones that actually deliver. We could really use some housekeeping.
