It's always comforting when you run to the bridge of the ship and you see Daffy Duck at the wheel.

@br it was just d-mb. All they could come up with was d-mb analogy after another, who gives a sh-t about these college coaches. We aren’t playing a game, this is a freaking business. I will give this a chance, but the leadership didn’t display that they know what a “winning” team looks like.

The responses from these leaders are driven more by emotion than by action. It feels like they’re playing a psychological game rather than offering concrete direction. ‘Trust’ is the word they use most often—it’s like watching a TED Talk. But when asked what specific actions they would take differently, there’s no real answer. When asked how we measure success internally, the response is equally vague—something about relying on others to tell us. Seriously? After everything we’ve been through, no one can articulate a single clear metric to define success?

Seeing two people with the same last name on the same stage in similar levels of leadership in the same org is pretty gross. Especially when 1/2 is incompetent.

It’s funny how they talk about owning accountability, but no one wants to be accountable for the last re-org and its failures
