Do people actually read that stuff and buy it? The cr-p posted there looks like a used car lot’s brochure - all perfect teams and glowing success stories. Meanwhile, back in the real world, we’re all just trying not to lose our minds. Nobody with actual boots on the ground believes that polished nonsense for a second.

It’s just Facebook for people who want to pretend to be successful as adults. Look at all the self aggrandizing and personal BS that people spew it’s funny for a while, but then it just gets depressing and sad.
It’s always been a facade. I initially thought it would disappear but I underestimated the average person’s need to project ‘success’ down as many avenues as they can locate. If you stand out in your field, people know without checking LinkedIn.
