Embarrassing. The AI videos showing OTs plan for AI, panning the center, etc was embarrassing to watch. Middle School students create better media.

@et if success means staying in business, then I agree. However, I see nothing that will grow revenue. Just talk where companies will use OpenText as a cheap AI solution until they get their act together and invest is a relationship with a real tech company. OpenText does document management and VAN services well, but there is no growth there and the executives know that. They hope something will emerge from the aviator or titanium programs but us in the trenches down see any pathway to success. I hope there is, but I just don’t see it.
The COE teams need more time, but they will ultimately succeed. As for the ROWs, we just need to learn to clap.
OpenText is a company that was not built on a solid foundation. All the limitless AI talk won’t save the company from collapsing. Talk to a Data Scientist and they will tell you the results are as good as the data used in the model. Machine learning on bad data and broken processes won’t magically result in a “Digital Worker” AI bot that can replace a human. Over 60% of the work is preparing data for modeling and/or machine learning. Mark and Sandy are putting on a show to keep the board and investors happy with hopes that some customers will go along on the ride if OT is willing to offer products at huge discounts. Truth is that if OpenText got acquired, it would be Mark and the executives that would lose their jobs first. Many will say, well executives have more than enough money to not work for years or retire, but note it’s not about money… it’s power and ego. The bs on LinkedIn regarding Sales Kickoff is all to stroke executives ego and exert power over employees.
None of this AI garbage is going to end well for companies that go down this road. It's already tanking.

I actually feel bad for Sandy, CMO. She doesn't have a contemporary creative skill set, totally not relevant for her function today. OT is actually getting ready to farm out marketing, significant number of marketing, communications roles getting eliminated in FY26.
What's embarrassing? The Chief Marketing Officer acting like a cheerleader in a bad 90s film. The way she hoots at every meeting is an insult to professional women everywhere.
