If you decide not to go back to office, how long before they fire you? I am retiring in February after 401k and pension hits, will I last that long before I get fired?

@OP It won't be smart for you to sc--w it up for 6 months. They can fire within a month
@x7 thought it was Dec 31, no?
You won't get your 401k match if you leave or let go prior to Feb 2026. If you are part of RTO and not following policy, guessing they can lay you off and not required to pay severance.
You will not make it. And it would be fired for cause. Don’t risk it. Just make it above 50% RTO expectations and you may be able to skate under the radar until retirement.
You will not loose your 401k or your pension, you may be let go earlier than your planned retirement is all.
Congratulations on your upcoming retirement! Enjoy your last 6 months by not taking a chance with our management as they have lost their minds. Do your 3 days / week RTO until November, load up your PTO for December and once it's January you are safe.
What's RTO never heard of it and still have a job.
1 week
Comply until you retire, it's not that long, or get a medical exemption.
Do as you please. If you are as close as you say you are then play Russian Roulette with your 401K and Pension.
You will make it. Just make sure you remove your pronouns from your email signature.
You won’t make it. RTO enforcement is going to get tighter in the coming weeks, trust me. Managers that never cared before will be forced to.
