Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Next RIF December 1, 2022

Is that just the date for US?

Have the UK/Europe Cuts processed yet, or still waiting for government approval?

Have you all found it interesting that Avaya has more employees than Twitter when this all began?

Center of Excellence Laid off on Nov 30. Any others? {PS -- Isn't retaining customers #1 priority? Is that possible without the Center of Excellence?]

Yes, Twitter staff #s stood out to me. It actually shows that Avaya didn't have as much "fluff" as implied. For Twitter to have more, and they don't have a business model where ALL clients require special configuration and support, it goes to show how difficult it will be for Avaya to operate without the employee talent as Avaya has little "off the shelf" to sell.
