Can't believe they're doing a Round 2. Gonna have my popcorn ready. (Assuming I'm still around for it if Ops isn't gone by then.)

@qz US Bank has the same autonomy to change company policy at will that Microsoft has. I'm not saying it's good, in fact, I'm saying it's very bad, but management has been and will continue to squeeze employees for every dime they can.
GK can eat pavement for all I care. I’m not joining this sh-t show town hall ever again after she degraded every one of us. Fu-k you Gunjan.
anyone else notice this time it was called a Town Hall instead of all company broadcast? see now, if GK acts a tiny bit less of a psychopath she can claim she listened and learned. might even announce some type of unfavorable policy (as others suggested) but claim she had to make the difficult decision because of business need.
"@qz HE MyHR/the employee handbook can be revised without employee input. Just like everything else USB does. USB can get rid of severance if it so wishes.
HR"
But did it revise it and remove severance? If not then it is misinformation. Nobody is saying offering severance is the law. We all understand it is at the company discretion which also means it differs between companies so that reference to Microsoft not offering severance (which in itself is unproven) was unnecessary and included only to generate fear.

"@mx The problem is that they don't need to offer severance. Microsoft's layoff last week did not give anyone severance. To get a good package, you needed to be in the first wave of layoffs."
Please do not spread misinformation. It is clearly stated in the employee handbook that one can find on HR or Total Rewards site. It has been mentioned several times on other USB threads here. Microsoft is ANOTHER company with the autonomy to make its own rules so not sure what is the point of such a comparison.
@mx The problem is that they don't need to offer severance. Microsoft's layoff last week did not give anyone severance. To get a good package, you needed to be in the first wave of layoffs.
"Quitting means the bank wins because they save money and that is all they care about."
This! If you have another job lined up then don't give a hoot but given the state of the market outside don't resign in rage. Not only do they win but you lose too. So what if it is 3 days per week. Do it until you find another job.
I’ve heard that the RTO policy is changing and I’m guessing she will be announcing it in the all hands. We haven’t had to make up the in office day if there was a holiday or we took a sick day but now it is 3 days in office if you work three days. No more lessening days in office by taking a vacation or sick day. Not enough of us quit with the 3 day rule so they are making it more uncomfortable. We should all just su-k it up and deal with it. Make them pay out the severance packages. Quitting means the bank wins because they save money and that is all they care about.
I will be on vacation the week of this town hall, but will be logging in just to attend this theater. I hope some VERY good questions get posted for the Q&A section. I am going to refrain from asking questions because if I asked my real questions I would probably be fired before returning from vacation. I no longer give a sh-t but am continuing to do my job for the paycheck. But am I loyal? UM NO.
@a9 what is find a friend initiative?
Elcio had the Macarena dance 🕺 post removed by contacting the moderator!!!!
We can only hope the call is to announce her resignation. Perhaps that’s what should be sent in, calls for her to resign.
Ugh! Bi--h, just be gone!
@at the answer is no lol
Questions should focus on offshoring aka “global delivery”. Not that the executives care but that’s the major threat now and where a lot of jobs are heading. Offshoring and RTO are strategically in conflict (until they purge the remaining stateside jobs and move the entire operation to India).
Based on the timing of the 23rd, this must be after a huge round of layoffs that is being talked about for on/around the 15th of July.
Please stop thinking they care about morale. You are fighting an uphill battle you will not win.
They need to reduce the number of employees to reduce costs. Either by RTO (people will quit not wanting to come into the office), early retirement, and layoffs (those are coming)
Q&A has got to be all about RTO and morale. Hope someone asks if as a CEO she prioritizes employees or shareholders putting her on the spot.
Make sure we all ask about RTO!!!!!!!! Trigggggger
I WFH. Please give updates on the “find a friend” initiative.
Flood the Q&A with RTO and morale questions
@OP with extra butter. Let's all ask about RTO. Would make her mad!
