Thread regarding L3Harris Technologies layoffs

Why is leadership’s go-to move always to ignore problems until they fester?

It’s like if they pretend not to see it, it doesn’t exist. Out of sight, out of mind, that is until it blows up in everyone’s face. We deserve better. We need people in charge who actually deal with issues instead of ducking them.

L3HARRIS exists for the sole purpose of making money for investors. They don't care about quality unless it impacts profits. They don't care about employees unless it effects profits. And, worst of all, they don't even care about the war fighters who depend on equipment to keep them safe . The defense department should seriously consider dumping this contractor before military lives are lost to shoddy workmanship from this dysfunctional, greed motivated company.

And when they finally address them, regular employees get hurt, and higher-ups get bonuses. This company seems to address problems to benefit stockholders in the short term with no mid- to long-term vision, which will eventually hurt the same stock holders if they don't sell.

For management to acknowledge a problem, they would have to blame someone. And they're never going to blame anyone in their own little club. Not until they find some middle management patsy.
