Howdy folks, hearing through the grapevine that the next layoff is in September. Their aiming at “probationary” people and middle management.

Pretty sure it’s about to happen here in okc.
Hr, security and vp are all together like last time it happen here.
company issuing overtime for programs that have been slotted for 2025 completion. Having layoffs at this time would be counterproductive to meeting this end of year goal.
Looks like a lot of job posting disappeared over night in west Palm. Not a good sign
@9qz believe it. Some occurred down south word is CT next.
Reddit boards are saying 9/11, how fitting.
Is there going to be a layoff or not???????
Let me say, for those who post hoping to rile up salary employees...shame. Not all salary are in management and not all management have anything to do with setting up rules etc. For the most part we are all here on the same boat. That being said, I guess its time to move on.
@1ga
It is not about money. It is about MORE money.
Raytheon will do anything they can do to save a short-term buck even and the cost of many many long-term bucks.
when why how ?
It is almost September. Do you know when we are ready to go?
Ouch
@1ga Even more money to appease the shareholders. Humans=the most expensive line item.
They are making a lot of money why have a layoff??????
@1at *that
@OP yeah we definitely have 3 or 4 levels thelar Only report the same thing up the chain to each other. Probably 75% of salaries
Company has seemed to forget about the boots on the ground detail workers doing the brunt of the work. Those folks are the backbone of the company. Not middle management checking schedules with bloated salaries that have lost all technical skills over the years. If this is true it
would be great for the company and hopefully the folks doing 95% of the work will start getting more respect and $.
middlemangement is bloated and doesnt do the brunt of work
