Real question, do you think this site is really anonymous?

As anonymous as it gets nowadays, I guess. There’s a cr-p-ton of boards on here, people constantly drop dirt on their jobs, and journalists often scoop it up for headlines. So yeah, no shock that all the big-name companies aren't thrilled about it. You can bet they'd love to shut this place down or at least dox the posters, but without a subpoena or a court order, they're out of luck. And those only get issued for serious stuff, like threats or major violations.

Several people in my group have posted completely outrageous attacks on management here from their work laptop and they are still around. We laugh about it in the lunch room from time to time.

Every single keystroke you type on a Company machine can be retrieved and traced to an individual.

No communication on the Internet is anonymous. There is a lot of information that is collected from the machine you are using to access the website, the question is can Chevron use it to collect information? I made it through the Phase one with a job offer and I have posted statements "may be considered less than desirable" from a corporate perspective. However, I have always posted with fact based criteria.
So is the website used by Chevron? Maybe, but I was offered a job and I accepted it....

Yes, it is. There have been times when leadership has tried to get information off this site and they were unable to. However, if you are stupid enough to use your company device to logon, they can see everything.

Nothing is truly anonymous. If you are posting from your company's laptop, the IT department can definitely see the content of your posts.
