I feel horrible every time I’m stuck trying to secure decent care for our clients and hit a wall. It really weighs on my conscience. I don’t know how the rest of you deal with it, but I’m having a hard time. Some colleagues say you just have to be satisfied with whatever you manage to push through, but that advice doesn’t do much for me. What kind of mindset does it take to get through the day without it eating you up?

It’s even more soul draining on the healthcare delivery side of the fence. It’s not the same world it was 10 years ago in any line of business. You want happy and profitable; go into A.I. or crypto.

I think it's only a matter of time before they make things so bad that an incredibly egregious mistake will be made.
The way you can make peace with it, possibly is to at least acknowledge that it is not your fault, I think. Just look up how many times they've sued, lost, and had to settle if you need validation.
If you are bothered that much now, you should leave healthcare because it's not going to improve. The financing aspect is broken and going to get worse. The ratio of Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare is out of alignment.
