From the outside, it's sad to see - got a huge premium jump this year and apparently it's not going to pay the people properly...

Not quite weekly but often and quietly/hidden. But unless you work with an area impacted or personally someone impacted you will never know about it anymore. Almost zero transparency left in any aspects with this company. The top levels have completely disconnected themselves with the rest of the enterprises.

And actually more layoffs overseas than onshore over the past several months. The entire India department that aligned with our area has been wiped out in the last 2 months. Zero of them left and it was a decent sized department.

But when the company has slashed over 70% of the onshore workforce or transferred the employees over to vendor suppliers since 2020 there is only so much laying off onshore to be done.

Allstate continues to be a captainless ship just floating aimlessly with no certain destination. Personally I don't think there is enough intelligence and business acumen in this company's leadership and at the top to even run this company as a viable insurance carrier anymore. One big festering ball of incompetent sh-t.

A lot of people still need to be laid off to make expense targets necessary for large executive bonuses.

I remember they at least used to be somewhat transparent about this but not anymore. Just rumors or you find out someone’s email is no longer active when it bounces back.
