UKG is playing catch up to its competitors and is slimming down for its next fight. For the fight to happen, UKG needs to show its parent holding company the numbers warrant the multi-million dollar match. If sales don't make their numbers, layoffs are made to reach them. After last years debacle handling of over 1,200 people getting laied off due to "org changes", UKG is at it again and laying off more in marketing and other depts. for the same reason. There is small opportunities for growth as they hire outside for new positions, and their intro salary is lower than industry standards. The one payoff is they do have great benefits. It's a nice lure. A benefit to a UKG solution (according to them) is happier employees. But if you ask their employees, you'd be hard pressed to hear and see that. Unless you ask the ones punch drunk on the kool-aid.

Whatever you heard is probably true. I got chopped in that 14% layoff last July. I wouldn't go back there unless they get out of the private equity debacle they are in now. It is driving the wrong things
