Pretty sure nobody outside of the berm even heard a peep or gives two shizz about this. Some lazy uninspired director or VP decided that recycling hypework from the OG breaking four was going to profit.
I really thought she was going to do it. I could tell on the 4th lap she was out of gas, unfortunate, but I’m hopeful she tries again next year.
We usually hear about such things after the fact. It was good to experience it live. Even though she was not able to break the 4 min barrier, she created another world record today. Hope she tries again and succeeds some day!
