Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Accountability

When will MW and MN take accountability that they are at fault for the state of the company? The answer is never, but they absolutely should. They brought in the non stop changes and distractions since 2020 and they understaffed and crushed morale. The incidents are all on them, but we all know who will be punished.........

@bq - it wasn’t a slip. I think this is all leading up to the eventual merger of Chevron and Exxon. Back in early 2021 there was a Bloomberg article about how merger between these two had been shelved due to COVID. I think all of these re-orgs (this one in particular) are to align us with the way Exxon does things.

“Accountability” is just a word they say. They have had zero accountability. Saying you are accountable without any consequences means you are not accountable. Mere words is all and nothing more.

Oh they have already stated they are accountable however, their jobs are safe. The consequence for their ‘accountability’ is 2 rounds of layoffs

Did anyone see the hidden hints in the MN video? The company is becoming more like Exxon. Next year they want to redo the Chevron Way, the PMP, and more. But he didn't say PMP rating, he said ranking, just like Exxon.

Dog eat dog hyper competitive environments breed toxicity. I hope it was a verbal slip and nothing more.
