Will this come with layoffs? Feel very uneasy about the announcement sent out this morning.

@24j Of course. Been through it before. But the email was clear, and the trolls that say the world is ending and half the workforce is getting laid off tomorrow just make everyone anxious. Especially when they can’t or won’t give a source for their info. OP was looking for reassurance.
Come on, there is ALWAYS a big reorg coming at Pearson. And invariably, layoffs are part of it.
@f4 or, hear me out - there’s no big re-org coming other than the couple of teams already mentioned..
I can’t believe this was not discussed on today’s All Hands call. SL is a total waste of space.

Yes unfortunately from what I am hearing there is going to be heavy layoffs followed with a major reorganization. Sadly many will lose their jobs and those who survive will be placed in completely different roles going forward.
