Thread regarding Barnes & Noble layoffs

I hope you're not waiting for another raise

If you still work at this dump, you know sales are in the dumpster.
It won't be long until the doors are locked when you show up for your next shift.
Just curious, does this sad excuse for a business still have any long-term su-kers, I mean, people working for them?

No good company will hire an employee of a known bad company. That’s why the DMs& mgrs stay. No one else will hire them.

I saw employees writing lots of negative things about BN on Facebook and I was laughing.
What fools! We told them they would end up getting sc--wed by mgt.

The only su*kers who remain are unemployable. NO ONE will hire a BN employee, mgr. or a DM…..

Our manager told us we aren't allowed to post online- or else. That sure makes employees feel comfortable.
It's pretty sad that they've resorted to stupid threats now.

I've had so many people tell me how badly they treat their employees, I'm shocked that they're still open too.

Weekdays we open with a manager & 3-4 booksellers. No one takes the “job” seriously, anymore. Several call outs . I have no idea how we remain open.
