The HR online documents to this day refer to the severance that laid off employees may be entitled to. It is also well known that the senior leadership felt ( and actually verbalized) that they we’re scre@@d in severance payouts in 2020 and it would NOT HAPPEN the next time around.
So how does Allstate get around the commitments made in their own online information????
They come up with a plan to move people to a a type of “holding” corporation that will get them out of the severance as it cannot be said that they are not Allstate employees when eventually terminated by the “vendor.” All of this happening KNOWING that these loyal (many long term) employees will be left with NOTHING for all those years of service. It is intentional!! It was planned.
When you really think about it in those terms, it is almost evil what they are doing…

Exactly! I'm just waiting to see if I get laid off. If I don't and am transfered then I'm out and getting a new job
