I was selected for a job that I don’t want. Can I now post in the PDC. What are the chances that I’ll be selected?

Fu-k you
@OP clearly not, just look at the jobs being posted, use ABU or any other area that went already, it means you weren’t considered for them and even then you just got saved. Do us all a favour and resign. You sound like the whining post horizons kids who don’t get promoted every year or two. Despite Mummy or Daddy’s role.
Why are you posing this here? Simply go to the Enterprise HR site and this very question and answer are clearly spelled out for you. This is the last place I would go for a basic internal policy question.
That happened to me and you just get the job they chose you for or leave without severance.
If you got selected for a job you didn’t want, it means you were written in. If you were written in without being asked it’s because someone saved your a-s. You were gonna get laid off and you lucked out. Take what you can and do amazing at it, because next layoff you might be gone.
It was clearly stated… No! Those in a closed job or already selected are not eligible to participate in the PDC. If they allowed it they would have to post your job again… why would they go through that effort again? Doesn’t make sense.
Plus although you may desire that job no guarantee you will be competitive.. PDC also has applicants from wave 2
Op if you read carefully the notes that are available on chevron selection process, it clearly specifies the PDC is not for people who had been selected, also PDC jobs are very limited, chances of getting them is very slim given the number of folks left standing.
It may reflect poorly on you, and furthermore, PDC jobs are not particularly good either.
My ideal job would involve the same if not higher pay but a lot less work
I too was selected for a job I didn't want. However, I'm happy to have a job and was fully aware before now I'd not be allowed to apply in the PDC, not that there is anything even in my function to apply to. I plan to make the best of the role I've got until it's my turn to apply for something else. I suggest you do the same.
Uhhhh...no.
