Am I misremembering? Am I looking at things through rose-tinted glasses? As far as I can recall, just three years ago things were really good. Few layoffs, happy workforce, clear direction... How did things go so wrong in such a short time? Were things just as bad before and I just didn't notice?

In 2020 a large amount of experience and skill was kicked out the door… Some may feel that the chickens are coming home to roost… And it will probably get worse in the next few years
yep three years ago you had survived a layoff and the company was promoting how it would now forward towards greatness again. Unfortunately it only accelerated the fall as high performing experience walked out the door to make room for the ambitious but inept. The spiral is not over.
Your all su-k. You don't even know what reality is anymore all but ideals or practice of delusion have fun with that losers you all assume past 4yrs was good that's becuase before you the people that performed were making the money for you d-mb as--s to stay. Look at you now no one to blame but yourself that in reality your not worth sh-t to begin with. Haha!
I’m also mistemembering, when did they say that We are going to come of this one stronger to win in any environment and be ready for a low side price outcome?
Yes, you are misremembering. But, not to worry, we all do it, and long for the past!
It’s a reflection of where we were mentally and spiritually at that time. If everything was good on the inside you perceive everything as good. It’s not the company that has changed, it is your perception of life. Change your perception change your reality
It's been down hill ever since Mike Wirth took over. He wrecked this place
Sorry OP, sounds like you have nostalgia for something that was not shared by others. Clear direction? Since when?
You must not have been here three years ago. It’s been a sh!t show since Covid, and the next few years before the next major layoffs will süçk worse.
You might have been delusional or lived in a bubble, 3 years ago, we just got out of Covid, and due to Russian war, oil price passed $100 and most people got better bonuses and raises and the inflation at 2022 was still reasonable, so yeah you might have felt good but everything since 2022 has been steep downhill.
Did you forget about 2020? or 2015?
