When you leave, write down your HR person’s contact info. The HR Service Center is useless.

HR is going be be all call centres and tickets after the second round, so for all the people in this site who moan about HR, your wish has been granted.
Look at the internal job listings, recruiting all the HR functions overseas, including hrbps.
Tickets for everything, good luck everyone.

Your HRBP will always be refer you to the service center anyway, and they only know what’s on the script. The only way to learn anything is to talk to colleagues in your situation and then piece together the bits of information they have.

What do you need HR for? They are barely any help while you are an employee. You expect them to take personal calls after you are laid off?

The HR contact doesn’t get paid enough to handle personal calls

Useless advice. Once you’re off the payroll, good luck getting any help from anyone in HR.
