Much has been said by Offshore Alliance and Boiling Cold about the "Barrow Island Act" and the clause mandating use of local engineering and labour to support Gorgon. Offshore Alliance even mentioned a legal challenge. Anyone heard whether this has gone anywhere? Have any politicians gone in to bat for local jobs?

All the Gorgon local content was already negotiated and agreed with the government in 2010.
