It'd have been better if they just got rid of all of us. I have no idea how we're supposed to get things done now.

Feels like getting laid off would be a bit harder of a situation than getting paid at your job.
They will expect the "diving catch" approach and just spread the effort across whatever resources you have remaining. This is the first step toward shifting again the workload to consultant offered services - having been through this several time in my former role at Nike - just focus on the vital commitments and pause the other items over the next 45 days. it will take patience to not work your team after hours and expect they do more with less approach. good luck as this continues to unfold. It's far from the company of the past including the lack of quality products and industry best practices.
