Because selections are still going on. Yes, people are slotted in, but some things get unwound to create other options for people currently left standing.
The events aren’t done. If a job owner is d-mb enough to go tell somebody that they have a job, it’s just not wise, in the event that something gets undone somewhere else in selections.
Why drag it out? Let people know they're safe as quickly as possible so that they can move onto other important things (like family and, God forbid, actually doing their job)
