Has anyone heard anything about badged contractors in the RBU? Will they be impacted by the layoffs? We have several brownfield and greenfield reps as well as several safety reps in all departments that are badged contractors and I have not heard anything about a reduction on there roles.

We have a staff aug contractor in our team and I noticed there is an extra employee in the 1H selection process. I think they are hiring an employee to replace the contractor because our team is growing.
He’s a good worker, I hope he does not leave.
I’ve heard that thousands of staff augmentation type contractors will go soon.
Exactly what they said for ABU. Same situation here. Shed the employees, leave contractors in place for the time being to hand over stuff and low cost geography regions.
The contractors may be impacted at some time but the focus of this year is to shed the employees and transfer the work to low cost central teams. The contractors can be terminated at any time because they are contract workers.
