How we doing everybody? Wild to see so many long-time people let go, but I guess that makes sense— those people are more expensive. But also, seems like a pretty bad idea to get rid of the people who know this place the best… getting pretty sick of this toxic repetition.

Tbh I think most of the best of nike who made nike NIKE have already left. The past few years people who knew the best and learnt from them also started leaving or getting laid off. The people not good enough to create greatness but not bad to let everything fall apart. Most of what remains of the decent folks now are the long timers who can't find another equal or better opportunity. If nike can't groom or replace talent fast enough, it's no surprise that competitors catch up to or even overtake nike. If you are just here for the paycheck, you'll be fine but if you are passionate about the brand and product, it sad times and a long road to recovery with a possibility of losing out to the best of nike to the upcoming and newer competition.
Place is trash, its just about keeping certain people and their friends in roles whether they deliver or not
Understandable, but would keep in mind that this toxic dynamic is everywhere now and I’m saying that as someone recently cut.
