Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

TES Return to Office

At the end of today’s lame TES pep fest, Gemma announced team members based at Target Northern Campus will need to start showing up in their tiny cubes once per week, Wednesdays, beginning on 7/30. This will do nothing to improve Target Team Surveys.

@b0 I know there is a troll on here (probably not you) but this one I definitely agree with! No one ever responds to their damn Slacks.

@f0

Sorry to hear about the layoff. In my experience getting laid off at other companies, it is scary but when you end up at your next job you look back and realize it was a lot better than working in constant layoff fear at the company that let you go.

Our team was upped to 2 days per week a month ago. Then they laid us all off this week.

I don’t know who Gemma is but They did this in my department. The rich part: the top leader who implemented hasn’t been seen on campus since imposing it. This company needs real leaders. Have them do a leadership bootcamp or something. This is pathetic.

Every other company has the opposite situation : one day in requires but the boss is there EVERY day to lead by example, encouraging everyone to come in l.
